154. Don't mind me, folks, I'm just cranky because I have read WAAAY too much criticism
of Keith and MSNBC this week, the vast majority of it from Dems. Aside from all the crap from the other side trying to blow out of proportion any disagreement anyone has on air into "oh dear, MSNBC anchors are bickering constantly, it's all that mean nasty Keith Olbermann's fault for having taken over the whole network so he decides who lives and who dies."

All the convention junkies and ultra-wonks just want to watch C-SPAN where they can get it all uninterrupted and without comment. Sure, they're entitled to their opinions, but frankly, if all I wanted to do was sit and watch a bunch of speeches, I'd try to become a delegate myself. I don't know, maybe I'm not enough of a political junkie.

This way, I get the best of both worlds: I get to see every moment of Keith, I get to see Tweety's best self miraculously come out, I get to sit and anticipate the moment Pat finally can't stand it anymore and bursts out with "Rachel you ignorant dyke," I get to see Rachel look at him when he says something stupid as if to say "Are you on drugs??" And then I can find out which speeches were the best and most worthwhile, and look them up on YouTube later. That way, I miss nothing.

Anyway, this was one speech I will NEVER forget. Just unbelievable. The Repugs shouldn't just postpone their convention, they should cancel it--and concede the election now. I know they won't think so, but they might as well.
