How does this situation in Afghanistan play into Pres. Bush's comments that we are fighting them over there so that we don't have to fight them over here? Does he think we have the terrorists all cornered in Iraq? Is he just ignoring Afghanistan now because they don't have oil? Is it another situation where Bush doesn't want to admit he made a mistake?
I noticed Senator Kerry didn't mention how long it would be necessary to have such a large American troop presence in Afghanistan. Then too, where are we going to get all of these soldiers? Oh, and then there is the money factor. I am not faulting Senator Kerry, he is absolutely right- again. He has warned us about Afghanistan before even as the administration ignored and continued to deny things were getting bad again there. America now is responsible for putting back together two countries and now Bush and company want to take on a third- Iran.
Someone has got to stop these NEOCONS, they have not a clue what they are doing and are a real danger to all of us.
