I tend to spot at midcycle and have for years, I also spot for a few days before my period.

Good luck, I started "peri" (hot flashes and mood swings) at 41-42, I'm now 47 and little has changed except my ability to deal with them. I take soy and other supplements and dress in layers. I have learned to deal with the emotional swings for the most part. My family has learned to deal with me when I am moody which also helps :)
