for the very reason that people believe what they want to. Case in point, my conservative-leaning/god-and-everything-else-believing friend and I both dearly loved Stranger Than Fiction. I thought it had a pretty strong atheist message, and of course she thought the opposite. I need to watch it again to validate my interpretation, but if that's a god-affirming film I'll eat my hat.
