The main thing that got me suspicious about their side of the story is that his face seems to be the only part of his body that was visibly injured. Here's the best picture I could find of him online-



I remember seeing his arms and hands on the news and they were injury free. I highly doubt a jump out of a window during a violent struggle with police would result in his face being so battered yet leave his arms and hands fine.
