The DU2 discussion forum will continue to exist, people just won't be able to post to it. Links to DU2 forums, groups, threads, and replies will all be unchanged, so that people who are linking to DU2 from elsewhere will still be able to follow those links and find the content that they're looking for.

Therefore one possibility for the Gaming Group on DU3 (and this would work just as well for all the other groups) would be to create a new thread called something like "Visit the old DU Gaming Group here" which would then contain a link back to the DU2 group. If you wanted, you could even link back to individual reviews that you've done.

So in a nutshell, yes, the old group will continue to exist with its links intact.
