2. Wow, even in your unconscious state
you've got a strong sense of identity and self-worth. Now, that's to be commended! Powerful dream, please indulge my take on it.

From what I've read and experienced, dreams of the arts represent personal creativity and a channel to higher levels of consciousness. Jung called it Level 3, a high level of dreaming. Also, in your dream you're Working on a project and so it may be about unrealized potential/an aspect of your personality that needs attention, as opposed to being an observer indicating a need for inspiration. And because its recurring, it may be about not addressing a particular ability or not accepting opportunities related to it.

I wonder if the rude artist is not a standard for you, and may be even you? On one hand, you admire him but on the other, he did not recognize your inner beauty until you set him straight, thereby forcing your beauty (perhaps a talent/ability) outwards.

Oh, it drives me crazy, too, having crushes on men I can't stand. I'm too ashamed to say who my latest is. And I really don't want any dreams about him.
