It's a total disaster! It had been a rental for several years and those folks trashed it beyond belief.

But you're right--the architecture (what's left of it) is very nice--there's a lovely front staircase, and the living room has 12 ft. ceilings.

I just wish we had the money to lavish on it to bring it back to its former glory. A bit at a time, I guess.

But for now we call it Chateau le Money Pit. (Wait, that's bad manifestation--we'd better quit that!)
