I'm worried & scared

I've been having painful spasms in my esophagus while eating for the past few weeks.
It feels like it's being twisted inside out as I'm choking. I'm seeing our family doctor this afternoon, and I'm scared. He will probably refer me to a GI specialist for a barium x-ray and an endoscopy and heaven knows what else.

Tomorrow, I'm going back to the gynecologist for a followup to an abnormal Pap test 6 months ago.

I want to crawl back into bed and pull the covers up over my head, because after all the issues with my daughters recently, I feel unable to handle another blessed thing.
