Here in town, we have a local weekly newspaper. I don't subscribe, but they send a free one once a month. Got it yesterday and found out that my retired social worker is running "healing classes" (reiki, massage, etc. ) at one of the local Churches in town on Sunday afternoons. She gave me a book about Angels when I first met her after I moved to town. She also leads groups for those mourning the loss of loved ones. I also found out we are having a local election in Nov. All of the Selectmen I worked so hard to get in office in 2004, as well as other town posts are no longer running. Whole new set of people. I belonged to the Democratic town committee until I lost my reliable transportation. I hadn't realized how out of touch I had become re my hometown!!! Must fix this!!!
