1. I love so many things about my equipment.
I don't share your enjoyment for the silver/copper polishing but I rarely use the silver and never use the few copper pots I do have.

I love my stainless cookware and use barkeepers to keep it bright and sparkly. I love my knives---even my very favorite cheap Santuko. I love my appliances. I have a trio fridge in stainless that I wipe every day. I would prefer a gas stove but I love my glass top with the bridge for the grill and roasting pans. I love the warming zone on the top and the proofing and warming controls on the oven.

I love my Nesco ovens. (I have the 6 quart and the huge one) It comes to the cabin with me in the summer and I can do anything in it. It was one of the best "toys" I've ever purchased. My kitchen is very hot in the summer, so I drag this puppy outside for any baking I need to do. I can't say enough good things about the Nesco. (Except it doesn't brown as well as a regular oven)

There's so many little things that I've acquired through the years: my cast iron rotary apple peeler/corer/slicer thingie, my kitchen aid, my rice cooker, the George Forman. The list seems endless.
