I got one just like yours on eBay just to have the most powerful version, 1gig + 1gig, in that case design.

An apple guy told me, I'm not sure this is true, that Steve Jobs had joked with designers about making a super thin ultimate notebook.
They went ahead and started, and when he found out he told them to keep going.
Many patents on forming titanium resulted.
Aluminum turned out to be a far more easy material to work with and had less signal resistance for the airport card.
The thin bezel around the screen has never been bested.

A beautiful machine. I've got an Air now, it's hard not to love how light and thin it is.
