and dangerous beliefs. Just think, the antivaxers would stop risking their kids' health, the GOP would dwindle to just a few sour old rich men, and televangelists would have to go back to selling used cars.
Alas, nothing seems to threaten a psyche quite as much as telling it one of its cherished beliefs has been disproven. Defensiveness is universal and violence is common.
I don't doubt that he's unwilling to debate ignorant people. Some of them will bring guns.
