74. My only issue is uneven enforcement of the rules
Some groups have rules against "rallying the troops" - pointing out a thread offensive to members of that group and urging group members to swarm on it. A number of threads in the Skeptics forum have been locked for that - and that's fine if that's the rule.

But dozens of threads in the Vegetarian/Animal Rights forum did the same exact thing, and when I alerted on those, what was the response? To ban ME from the Vegetarian group so that I couldn't alert on them anymore. This is in direct contradiction to the repeated urging of mods and admins to hit alert when you see a thread that breaks the rules. I'm now banned from a group I've never once posted in - because I alerted on threads that broke the rules.

I PMed mods to ask about it - they said to PM the admins. I did, a few times, and never got a response.

I take it people are finding examples in other forums where "Best of..." type-threads haven't been locked, even when they do the same thing the ones here did.

So I have no objection to any rules you want to institute, but you must know that people will be upset if they're not enforced across the board.
