Did other straights at the party support the bigoted straight? Apparently not.

Is the reference to "sensitive straights" a ironic reference to the stereotypical "sensitive gay boy"?

Anyway, it's an amusing story and there's some emotional satisfaction at seeing bigotry get literally smacked down.

One wonders, however, at how the bigot will nurse his grudges and what form they'll take in the future. It seems to me that an opportunity for understanding was lost.
