5. Actually....
the article starts and ends with the authors loss of faith. He is able to "believe", however, in this truer version of Jesus.

I want Atheists (I count myself one) to embrace Jesus, just as I have, based on the fact that he was a radical social activist.

I think Jesus would object to the very term "Christianity". Enough of this cult of personality crap, which is the whole foundation of the Church.

The thread title is intended to get attention by offending a little.
