it would explain why 25% of humanity has ruined the message hidden in the myths. A percentage of the population is psychotic or sociopathic. Perhaps the lambs should speak up louder? Not be so passive, take the psychotics more seriously? (I think they are emerging, as a historic movement, and that is why religion is set for a huge shift in the next couple of hundred years.)

EDIT: you also make good points about humans and irrational behavior. I look to Romance as many times being in that category. Continuing to be obsessed with someone who cares nothing for the relationship, is abusive, or obsession with a person one has never met.
