5. Ricky's toying with a 2012 run, so he's trying to grab the attention of the rightwing religion gang:
"Come pray with me in hot humid Houston this August!" An obvious retort from the rest of us is: "Another rightwing Texas governor as President? No thanks!"

What's going on here? The Rs have been very good at following the old Hollywood quip: It doesn't matter whether what they're saying is good or bad, as long as they're talking about you! Perry's current game is huff-n-puff -- he wants chatter about him to drive his name into the news. Arguing about his nonsense encourages people to notice him, and I really can't see any reason to help him that way
