5. Meh, it works for political candidates too.
Many have chosen to be cruel, irrational and downright foolish in their following of a politician, who has been characterized as unable to do wrong. (There have been examples of this in the followers of all candidates in the past year, I single no group out in particular.)

The bloodletting in GD-P earlier this year was one example of the problems of uncritical belief. Others can easily be found in the dungeon.
