for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Isaiah's prophecy of the new Jerusalem: (after the
anticipated, and permanent, fall of the Kingdom of
Israel to Babylonian invasion) --

But be glad and rejoice forever
in what I am creating:
for I am about to create Jerusalem as a joy,
and its people as a delight.

I will rejoice in Jerusalem,
and delight in my people;
no more shall the sound of weeping be heard in it,
or the cry of distress.

No more shall there be in it
an infant that lives but a few days,
or an old person who does not live out a lifetime;
for one who dies at a hundred years will be considered a youth,

The sermon was about the occupying troops of Jerusalem,
patrolling the city looking for agitators
like the police did during the '68 riots.
