there's a pattern for about 50 years (or more now, i think) that the Redskins last home game before a presidential election determines who is going to win the election. it's been right every single time since they've been the Redskins.

The story is - if the Redskins win, the incumbent stays in power. If they lose, then the challenger will win.

This year, they LOST. Which would mean Kerry wins the Presidency. HOWEVER - during the game, there was a point where the Redskins scored and would have won the game - until it was called foul and they took back the points.........and the Packers ended up scoring, and winning the game in the end.
