177. You know, it took me about 10 minutes to decide to post this. I thought
maybe it would be better not to, because I've thought that there must be a reason Kerry didn't come out sooner. I kept checking back here at DU to see if anyone had posted it yet, and then going back to the Cobb site to make sure I was reading what I thought I was reading. I finally decided, that since it was a press release, it was going to come out whether I posted it or someone else did.

I agree that its a very good idea to invite non-partisan participation from the Bush administration (not that there will be any). From the time right after the election, it has seemed to me that the number of people who question the results ALONE is reason enough for an investigation/recount. Although the polls that track such things have differed from 20% to 29% to as high as 39%, even the lowest number is WAY to high in an advanced democracy such as ours, imho. So, no matter WHAT the outcome, this is very good.
