As to how the Democratic clients are being represented, see this from last year's elections (same lawyers):

And what about the interests of the VOTERS, who have a constitutional right to know that their votes are counted as cast? Party hackery is no substitute for that right and historically, Dems have tried to protect that right. Not anymore -- at least not in New York. And NY is not unique.
