18. As funny as Bush when....
Her suggestion sounds about as funny as GW Bush when he said something like, "This would be easier if it was a dictatorship; as long as I'm the dictator," or when he started joking about the WMDs that he never found and looked in ridiculous pales like behind the curtains. Thousands of people died because of that war based on false pretenses and it costs billions of dollars which is contributing to the collapse of our economy now.

Beverly Perdue may not be from the same party but she is clearly giving the Republicans plenty of ammunition to use to avoid issues and demonize her. Instead of satirizing the problem we need to spend more time discussing ways to reform the system and implement election reform that enables the public to participate in the interview process and discuss important issues; not provide another excuse to distract from the issues. As far as I can see this doesn't include any discussion on that.
