And, demanding the media not report what they can't independently CONFIRM.
How can it be wrong to ask the media to follow ITS OWN PRINCIPLES?

on edit: Well, the media would be very hard pressed to ignore the election, but they most certainly SHOULD and indeed must (ethically) say that they were "unable to independently confirm the numbers reported by the registrar of voters, due to secrecy in the counts. Our requests for further confirmatory information were denied..." (or something similar, followed by a discussion of this.
Then we'd have a media that was closer to fulfilling its proper role as the only constitutionally recognized private business.
