the results "wouldn't have changed"? This is TOTALLY ILLOGICAL. They have no basis for saying it. (even if we somehow "knew" they were right, they still have no factual basis for saying it within the context of this story)

ERRATUM, in the paragraph that starts "According to the Free Press Defense attorney Roger Synenberg, who represents" there should be a comma after Free Press, which would then indicate that the defense attorney is not affiliated with the free press, instead the free press is the source of this particular piece of information.
