Washington law criminalizes "malicious harassment" and violence against individuals because of their sexual orientation. Rev. Code Wash. (ARCW) § 9A.36.080 (2002). <snip>

The more they are charged with, the more they will have to spend on lawyers to defend themselves. Their activities certainly were malicious harassment.
