I think it was a transparent as any other Presidential election.

Remember, a lot the electronic voting was installed to correct the problems created by paper punch card ballots that some voters did not have the mental capacity to use. Was it a mistake? Probably. Still, it was within the law.

OK, OK you guys win. The Republicans cheated. We knew they were going to cheat, and either made no efforts to stop them, in which case we have no legitimate complaints, or they were so slick, so much smarter than we are, that we will never win another election again, and might as well go to Canada like we all threatened to do. What are you waiting for?

Or, my carefully thought out position, we got whipped more or less legitimately and need to re-trench our ideas, our policies, our organization. But nobody here wants to do that.

Maybe I'd go to Canada, but I've been there, and it's too damn cold for me.

On edit: I agree, we should work towards transparent elections, elimination of voter fraud, and other reforms. Maybe then we will win. But that won't be the only reason.
