anything. But unless there is specific evidence of wrong-doing, which there is not, there is no duty on the part of the government to answer the charges, which can be assumed to be false until the proof is forthcoming.

Moral, smoral. The results were certified, and the burden has shifted to us. Not because Bush will be removed from office, he won't be, but because it would now be a criminal matter with criminal charges.

Oh, and because logically we should be able to make a case.

In short, I believe these wild charges of election fraud, with no substantial evidence to back them up, hurts us worse than the Republicans.

On edit: Actually we have no "duty" to have proof for wild charges, except as decent human beings. However, if we expect the charges to be taken seriously, instead of mocked, as they are currently being, we should have some kind of evidence. Not the learned tomes of some university professors who might be considered by some to have an agenda about some statistical anomaly they claim to have found.
