1. You are right, of course.
No progressive ideals can be instituted until we have legitimate elections.

I think it will be a very long battle. But the war cannot be won until we succeed in this very important battle.

It is neccessary to educate our neighbors and friends on the importance of fair and honest elections, whatever their political orientation. It will take a lot of dedicated work.

I saw the movie several weeks ago. I am also old enough to remember the W.U. Their tactics turned EVERYONE off to their message.

We need to practice not anger and rage, but absolute unbending determination.

Aside from the work we are doing with our federal elected officials, every single one of us should be contacting our local Elections Offices to volunteer for every position in all upcoming elections. Put our eyes everywhere.

Go to local public meetings constantly. Meet local officials. They are the ones who eventually run for higher office. Help the good ones on a local level. Sometimes it is the local officials who start the balls rolling on issues at higher levels.

When I was a teen, my dad took me to city council meetings. That's where I came to know City Councilman (then future Congressman) Ron Dellums.
