Tell the Republicans They Brought it on Themselves!

Tell all your Republican Reps that they brought the Electoral Challenge on themselves by NOT enacting legislation to require the voter-verified paper ballot (VVPB) and random audits to verify the vote. They are the ones who have broken the system. We are just trying to fix it.

See:
<http://www.verifiedvoting.org/article.php?list=type&type=43>

I have a proposal for this forum:

Tomorrow, (Saturday) instead of posting here, for one day or as long as it takes, write as many letters to as many "elected" officials as you can, particularly Republicans, and especially Hastert, DeLay and Frist, and most importantly, to all your state representatives who actually make most of our election laws, and tell them:

1. The Republicans brought it on themselves (see above);

2. The vote is unverifiable in many states, and that's an inescapable FACT;

3. We need a voter-verified paper ballot, and random auditing of same to verify the vote in EVERY state and in DC;

4. Let them know that the paper alone doesn't help because without the audits, it's just a placebo.

After you're done, come back here and post some of your writing to give others the impetus to do the same.

What do you think people? One day away from this website (which let's face it, is highly addictive) to help save Democracy isn't too much to ask, is it?

And on edit, let me say that I think what scares them the most is that We the people will lose our illusion of democracy. If we can show them that we have, they must act, or be denounced as outright totalitarians.
