I was the only one on the lake fishing and they decide to use my traps as slalom markers. Luckily, I had a couple of caltrops in my kit, and while they were at the other end of the lake, I buried them in the snow on their course among my traps.

Within an hour, I had bagged 3 ATVs and a snowmobile. They ran home and got daddy, who came down and threatened to call the Police.
He looked like he wanted to get violent but the loaded .357 on my dash convinced him otherwise. I had a carry permit.

I told him to go ahead and call. They were the ones breaking the Law.

End of story. They limped home and I didn't catch any fish for all the noise.
