I'd love to see him at the state convention.

I've never gone cuz its just not worth the time. They fill the schedule with boring speakers. Then they cut down the time we actually have to discuss issues during the resolution debate to the point that its meaningless.

With it so late in the summer like it is this year, there are too many better things to be doing.

Suppose ole Joe was counting on lots of us feeling that way in case he actually had a challenger in his election. I mean where's his incentive to draw a big crowd when those hardcore party members who go no matter how boring it is are more likely to keep him in office and not give him any smack.
