214. Multifaith peace event on Fox Island 9/21
September 21st, 2007 At 7 pm

Fox Island United Church of Christ
726 6th Avenue, Fox Island

This event is a multi-faith religious and cultural event celebrating the diversity of the Religious Left and is open to “everyone” without regard to religion or belief, race, culture, gender or sexual orientation. God has many faces and the people of God come in all colors, faiths, sizes and cultures.

Peace is not just the absence of war.

Join Rev B.J. Beu, Rev Mary Scifries, Jerry Abbott, the Wickline Family and Friends on their Wake Up America Tour, Russ Lemken, Dave Norton, and others at this International Day of Peace Celebration and call to action.

A “Peace of Art Show” will be presented in the church narthex beginning September 11th on the day of the birth of Ghandi’s non-violence. All pieces will be created by local artists of all ages.

Call Jerry at 253-267-9000 or the church at 253-549-2420
