SEATTLE ACTIVIST BRIEFING:

FAIR TRADE AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN KOREA

** Updates on the US-Korea FTA, trade union repression, and the struggle of Pyeongtaek farmers **

Friday, Feb. 23rd, 6:00 - 8:30pm
Nihonmachi Terrace, 651 S. Main St., International District
On-street parking FREE after 6pm
RSVP to jungharris{at} gmail.com

As the US and South Korea continue to negotiate the largest free trade agreement since NAFTA, Korean workers and farmers have continued to oppose the FTA talks, despite intense government repression. But the people cannot be silenced. Korean movement organizations and US-based Korean American organizations have joined forces with groups fighting the US-Colombia and US-Peru FTAs, creating a united front for fair trade. Please join us to hear the latest about this exciting movement.
