(oops, guess i just "outed" myself as a former terrorist)

i think linking pay to grades is ridiculous. there are so many factors that go into a student's success in school besides the teaching that goes on in the classroom.

i remember angry parents contacting me about scheduling tests on monday because the weekends were the kids' "days off" & they shouldn't have to do anything school-related. i was also called to task for scheduling project due-dates on mondays as well for the same reason. gosh, & i thought i was doing the kids a favor by giving them two whole days to study.....sheesh

and don't even start me on the discipline......
