The decision was determined in cooperation with the Denton County Health Department and Texas Department of State Health Services after assessing the increasing number of probable cases of H1N1 (swine flu), Type A and other influenza-like illnesses in the district.
"The data provided by the health department indicated that the flu has been appearing in clusters and moving from the Dallas/Lewisville area to the northern regions of the Metroplex. We are taking the Health Department's directives seriously," Superintendent Ray Braswell said.

And DISD and Plano ISD are refusing to release any info about their "probable cases". Nor are they showing signs of closing their respective districts despite their confirmed and probable cases.
