He was on public radio this week
1. There are only two vendors 2. Blackwell gave the BOEs only 2 months to make an acquisition. The next big election is two years away. 3. They still need to buy touch screen/DRE units for blind voters at each precinct 4. The cost of initial purchase vs. ongoing costs of all technologies had not been "worked out".
