It is a bitter pill to swallow but Deval Patrick won tonight, Bob Menendez won tonight, Nancy Pelosi will be the first female Speaker of the House, and the number of women grew in the senate tonight. Democrats are truly the party of America. Every race, every gender, every religion, every way of life.

Michigan did take one step back tonight but America has taken a huge leap forward.
