6. I just heard that Calley does not become governor for the rest of the term
This is a meme that Ruth Johnson is spreading. Under recall rules, there is a special election. If Snyder were to be impeached rather than recalled, or if he were to leave office for any other reason, then Calley would become governor. I was very glad to find this out.
