5. It is still majority democrat, yes?
Maybe she doesn't have quite as good of a shot
as the other guy, but the underhanded tactics
that our party uses to "discourage" primary candidates
is turning me off.

If McDowell is such a winner of a conservative, a
primary should only showcase what a family values
kind of guy he is and it will only help him in his
quest to keep Michigan purple.
