It says it's a picture of Woodward Ave., which goes a long way.
We're both wondering what the cross streets are. Seems to me those would still be there, at least...
Edit: Found it! I don't know what the exact address is, but the area in the old photo still exists today as what seems to be a park. What I believe to be the statue in the 1917 photo is in the red circle. I went to Google Earth's street level view and found the exact angle from which the 1917 photo was taken. I'll not post that view due to size concerns, but that statue is definitely still there, and the general area is still one of commerce; First National Bank is in the building immediately above the statue, as shown here:
