From this morning's Cape Cod Times:

Duncan's Cape residency disputed

By JACK COLEMAN
STAFF WRITER
FALMOUTH - State Senate candidate Timothy Duncan says he has been a year-round Falmouth resident since October, but he is getting a $1,454 tax break this year for his house in Cambridge, an exemption available only to those claiming a dwelling as their primary residence.

Republican state Senate candidate Timothy Duncan's house in Woods Hole is under construction in this May 12 photo. Duncan lists the home as his primary residence, although he receives a property tax benefit in Cambridge becasue he filed papers with city officials saying his home there is his primary residence.

<snip>

Although Duncan is not required to live in the district until Election Day, critics say the Cambridge lawyer is moving to the Cape as part of a Republican effort to target Democratic incumbents.

Duncan also has not obtained an occupancy permit for a 2,600-square-foot house under construction off Woods Hole Road, where he claims to live.
