2. Bad deeds do not erase other bad deeds
Right now it might be two sex offenders-but who could be next? They don't know that the prior convictions of these people was the motive for the shootings yet-it could be another factor entirely.

Either way, to kill someone for revenge does not take away the initial offense, but rather adds to it another offense, another life (or lives) ruined.
