The state Publicans are calling this a tax cut, but in reality it's a giveaway to corporations, and in addition is a huge step toward the "fair tax", (which is far far more fair to the rich). This legislation proposes to do away with deductions for mortgate interest, will charge tax on personal auto sales, will tax groceries, will do away with deductins for charitable giving - ALL of these proposals will hit the middle class the hardest. An economist from Georgia State has stated that it will cost middle class taxpayers hundreds more per year.

We need to let our state reps and senators (even the right-wingers like mine) hear from us about this corporate giveaway.
