| 4. Citizens Is The ONLY Choice For Anyone Who Lives In A Mobile Home |

that is at least 25 years old. My mother in law who is 94 and lives with us has to pay $1374.00 a year on a SS income of $765.00 a month. He living will states her place CAN NOT be sold until she passes and she's been with us for 7 years. I called ALL OVER the place to see if we could get something cheaper, but the person I talked to in Tallahassee was nothing but RUDE.
I asked if there was some sort of assistance for those with limited incomes, he said not that he knew of. I told him about our circumstances and he told me to contact my representative!! Her place is in Citrus County, I live In Sarasota County! NOBODY was of ANY help. This idiot also said to me, "well, if she can't afford it, she'll just have to do without, or else YOU can pay it for her!" I was so mad I just slammed the phone down! We need insurance reform. My home insurance is SKY HIGH and we were just notified a couple of months ago that our Insurance Co is leaving and we will be "assigned" a new insurer! I pay close to $3,000.00 a year and we don't have a large home either. Three bedrooms, 2 baths... around 1750 sq. ft. so I think it's pretty high!
She used to pay around $350.00 a year, but since she lives here she HAS to have insurance because we aren't there. My husband does take her back up there about every six weeks and maintains the place, but the insurance is OUTRAGEOUS!
