... designed not to receive at all unless it's encrypted, that would make it quite a bit different situation. I guess I wasn't thinking so much of finding one signal, but rather of discerning it amongst all the other wireless stuff in the area (of which there is likely a great deal).

As for the voices, jamming it would leave just the ones that are there now (wouldn't it be fun to have him ad-libbing "God speaks through me" routines in the middle of the debate?). The other alternative, of course, would be to provide him a whole new set of voices--"We're going to build the economy through a new trade agreement with the Martians...." :P
