... I dont think most people, even my fellow hard-core Obama supporters even realize the President once LIVED in Pakistan. Two of his college roommates at Occidental were Pakistani. One from a wealthy family, one from a poorer farming family. He went home with them for the summer of (I believe) his freshman/sophomore year. Those two friends are now prominent campaign supporters ...... ok, well maybe not PROMINENT ..... but ...... they go way back lol.

I think perhaps the admin doesn't push this because it will add to the wingnut meme that the President is "all things evil that are imagineable" but it certainly sheds some light on his rationale. It's one thing to plan warefare for a foreign land .... it's another to do so when that land was once your home.
