1. Independents are a crucial swing vote in many areas/states
Independent support of Obama has dropped 10 points from 63 to 53 since May. I think that's cause for serious concern.

I like how you think the loss of support is from Independents "easily manipulated who think Fox News is okay to listen to, not from any liberal dems." Where do you get all that? Easily manipulated? I think they are most likely the ones who resist manipulation the most since they prefer being lone wolves or issues voters who are frequently disappointed with BOTH parties as they merge into a mid-point mush.

How many Idependents who listen to Fox News do you think voted for Obama? I maintain that the drop IS coming from the liberal side, it stands to reason that those types would have the greatest reasons for disappointment at this point.
