The fact that Obama has only been in office four months make anything in the OP untrue.

Also, Obama has been working for those 4 months. Some of us have been paying attention. These 4 months are the foundation of policy. This is the foundation of what he's going to do for the entire term. You don't wait until a house is entirely built to check the foundation for flaws.

What do you plan to do, wait until the end of his term, and then if you find things you don't like, ask "how did this happen?" You're SUPPOSED to pay attention while things are happening, not wait until afterward. These 4 months have been important!

In these 4 months he has set whole lot of policy directions, and many of those directions are 180 degrees from what he promised during his campaign. Don't you think it's important that his free trade policy is already the opposite of what he promised it would be? You don't want to wait until AFTER he has negotiated free trade agreements to call him on that. By then it would be too late. Now, when we see that direction, Before the negotiations are completed, is when we need to call him on it and demand that he stick to the direction he promised during his campaign.
